Some cakes are so simple and yet delicious so I often enjoy making them. I got the recipe for this biscuit from a friend. The original uses wheat flour, she wrote to me – try it with your own flour. And I tried it, it was very tasty, but the biscuit totally blew out and the aesthetic impression was zero. Then I replaced half of the flour with semolina and was finally happy with the look.

Mix eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar. Add oil, milk and jam and mix briefly. Add baking powder, semolina and flour and mix until the mixture is combined. Pour the mixture into a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 20-25 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 ° C (check with a toothpick if it is baked). Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.

Note: the cup I used as a measure has 160 ml. If the jam you want to use is hard, boil it with a little water and cool before using in the recipe.
