last weekend, i had a dessert order for a wedding. i was really happy coz its been almost a month or so since i made anything decent. it was macarons after macarons after macarons, i missed my desserts! my customer requested some of the items she seen on my blog so here’s what i did :

macarons for starters, of course. these are pistachio and rose ones.

Vanilla Panna Cotta Verrines with Raspberry Coulis

vanilla bean panna cotta with raspberry coulis and fresh berries. i’ve switched to using tahitian vanilla beans for almost a year now and never regret making the switch. the beans are so much better than the madagascar ones coz they’re sweeter smelling with a floral note and really complement desserts well.

Mango Yogurt Panna Cotta Verrines

mango yogurt panna cotta. i’m sure most of you remember seeing these. i’m pretty pleased with this photo coz i’ve never had much luck (or skill) with yellow subjects. they usually turn out overexposed but this one looks not too bad.

Lemon Meringue Tartlets

lemon meringue tartlets. one of my personal favorites and i’m glad i got to steal a few bites from the leftovers after i made them 😀

Desserts

regretfully, due to limited resources, i have never been able to set up the desserts at the event venues and my customers had all been very understanding to self collect. one day, just one day i’ll make sure to do up proper dessert bars and candy buffets. i’ve had so many enquiries actually!
