What kind of autumn is it without the smell of apples and cinnamon ?? Here, my days pass without that favorite scent. It rained for days and fog covered the street. Today the sun finally shone and I said to myself, as I was leaving work, that today in honor of the sun, the smell of apples and cinnamon would spread through the house. A quick crumble is the only thing I can do while preparing lunch. I just have small juicy homemade apples. Crumble also got a secret ingredient, which blended in great. It is Bio extra chokeberry jam with lemon. The amount of ingredients is enough for 4 smaller portions.

  • 100 g Schar Mix b flour
  • 70 g of sugar
  • 80 g of cold butter
  • 4 larger or 16 mini apples
  • 2 teaspoons sugar (adjust the amount of sugar to the sweetness of apples)
  • cinnamon to taste
  • 4 tablespoons Bio extra chokeberry jam with lemon

Rub the butter into the flour to get a coarse crumb structure. Add the sugar and place in the fridge while you prepare the filling. Peel an apple, grate it and cut it into thin slices. Add sugar and cinnamon. Arrange apples and jam in four smaller fireproof bowls. Spread the crumbly mixture with butter on the filling. Cover the surface with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 ° C. Then remove the foil and return to the oven until the surface gets a nice color, about 10 more minutes. Serve warm.
