Ingredients
  • 1lb pork belly or pork shoulder*sliced into small pieces 1/8 inch thick
  • 1 small yellow onion, rough chopped
  • 1 small Asian pear, peeled cored & rough chopped
  • 1/3c gochujangMake it
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1tbsp coconut aminosBuy it
  • 1tbsp coconut palm sugarBuy it
  • 1tbsp sesame oilBuy it
  • 1tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1inch knob ginger, peeled and rough chopped
  • 1/2tsp Himalayan pink salt
  • 1/4tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Add pork slices, green onions and sesame seeds to a large glass bowl and set aside.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients to a food processor and process until smooth.
  3. Add the marinade to the bowl with the pork and mix well to combine.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Remove meat and discard extra liquid. Pan-fry or grill on a grill pan over medium heat for 3-5 minutes on each side.

*It’s easiest to cut a partially frozen piece of meat or you can see if your butcher can cut it super thin.
