Ingredients
  • 3lbs short ribsflanken cut
  • 1/2c coconut aminosBuy it
  • 1/2c coconut sugarBuy it
  • 1 medium Asian pear, rough chopped
  • 1 small onion, rough chopped
  • 2tbsp sesame oil
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2tsp Himalayan pink salt
  • 1/2 inch knob of ginger, peeled
  • 1/2 tsp gochugaru (Korean red pepper powder)Buy it
  • 1/2tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Process all of the ingredients except the short ribs, green onions and sesame seeds in a food processor until smooth. Add the marinade, ribs, green onions and sesame seeds to a glass dish and massage the marinade into the meat.
  2. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least one hour (overnight is ideal).
  3. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat and cook the short ribs for 3-4 minutes on each side.
