Hazelnut Spread

My Hazelnut Spread is naturally sweetened with honey, and it actually tastes like the real deal. Feel free to cut down the amount of honey to your taste.

  • 1 c hazelnuts
  • 1/4 c full fat coconut milk Buy it
  • 1/4 c raw honey Buy it
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder Buy it
  • 1 tbsp refined coconut oil, melted Buy it
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 Β°F. Roast the hazelnuts for 15 minutes then let cool slightly. Remove the skins by rubbing off with your fingers.*
  2. Process the hazelnuts in a food processor until it becomes a smooth nut butter.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and process until smooth.
  4. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Recipe Notes

*Try to get most of the skin off, but don't worry if you can't remove it all.
